"I was the Romper Room
Hostess during the '60s in Virginia.
"I was on in Norfolk, VA stations: WVEC TV and WYAH. (This
station was owned by Pat Robertson and also featured the Jim
and Tammy show).
"I was fired from the show when they discovered that I
was pregnant. I guess a sign of the times back then.
"I rarely go anywhere that someone, up in age, has to
tell me that I helped raise their children. I loved doing the
show. Lots of wonderful memories.
"I am now a designer of Teddy Bears. You can go to my
