Desperate Housewives: Season Three

Entertainment Weekly says, "There's nothing desperate about these housewives." Well, there's nothing dainty about them either!

Season 3 of TV's mightiest uber-soap is out on DVD and it's a winner judging from the massive sales on Amazon. It's currently the hottest selling TV show on DVD.

I'm not a devotee of the show, it's not written for me apparently, but I enjoyed season 3 a great deal more that the second year, the characters seem riper and more repugnant, if that's possible, and the situations more extreme. A lot of that heat comes from a new character for the third season, Orson Hodge, well-played by Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks).
