Here's something for the kids to enjoy - and enjoy it they will. It's been kid tested for more than fifty years.

HarveyToons The Complete Collection has arrived with 52 cartoons, 19 hours, to keep the little ones glued to the tube while you're in the back room getting to know the pool guy.

You remember the Harvey cartoons - Casper the Friendly Ghost, Baby Huey, Little Audrey, Herman & Catnip - they're all remastered and cleaned up (and edited). It's like seeing these cartoons made during the 40s & 50s for the first time. There's a lot of good clean fun here, no matter what your age.

This DVD release disappointed a lot of purists.

This isn't actually ALL of the Harvey character cartoons - Jerry Beck of Cartoon Brew (the definitive expert when it comes to animation) has some complaints about this DVD set - it's actually a compendium of the HarveyToons show he put together for TV in 1998, and it's not all of those - so why call it the 'Complete Collection' if it isn't?
But when it comes to babysitting chores, there's no doubt this collection is up to the task - the kids stay glued.
